About MillHenge

“MillHenge” is the name we have given our our house.
It’s an older style farm house that has been renovated a few times over its 60 year life.
This is also the Home of Steve and Kelly.

We love the idea of knowing where our food comes from and how it has been produced, and the best and most satisfying way of doing this is to grow and make it yourself! Together we grow many

of our own organic veggies, fruit and nuts, make beer, cheese, wine and mead and tend our

chooks and beehive. We try to be as practical as possible whilst we plan

for self sufficiency, health and the long awaited Zombie apocalypse 😉

Steve’s grand aim is to brew a full and totally home grown beer from his own grain, hops and if possible, his own wild yeast.

Kelly’s aim is to sit on the back verandah eating her own sourdough bread to topped with home grown avocado and homemade cheese, washed down with a glass of sparkling mead brewed from our own honey.
